I have been working at U.S. Bank part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great management and teams. It's overall a positive work environment between team members and management. The pay is pretty good as well. The management and pay are the reason I'm still with the company. You learn a lot about deescalation, great customer service, and patience (a lot of patience). Training is extensive and overall was a good experience back before virtual training. The benefits are good for short-term disability but the health/dental isn't much coverage (high deductible)

    Cons

Ridiculously challenging goals that are constantly being raised. The company makes your job harder more often than they make it easier. Mentally and physically drained after even short shifts working here. Taking calls all the time from disgruntled customers isn't exactly what I'd call a way to keep a positive outlook on the world. They virtually erased the bonuses of the majority of employees with changes in revenue goals. The training has switched to virtual.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay more attention to the workers at the call center. Stop worrying so much about cutting costs and worry about the employees that are giving your customers a great experience and doing their job well. Too many employees care so much about getting bonuses and meeting the revenue goals that they don't take the time to assist the customer correctly the first time. I feel like they care more about cutting costs and boosting profits than they do about their employees.
