    I worked at U.S. Cellular

    Pros

    Great compensation; great training; great benefits; great leadership, and the knowledge and belief in a company that truly puts the customer first, while listening carefully to the employee.

    Cons

    While the company itself is great, the hardest thing I dealt with was the retail hours. Having 2 children and working retail hours for nearly 10 years, wore me out.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    It would be great to reward long time employees with better hours to encourage them to stay, and to help employees who have families. The hardest thing I dealt with as a working mother was not being able to go home at 5:00 and see my children after school, help them with homework, and tuck them in bed. To reward hard working employees who've stuck with the company by giving them the choice to go with hours of their choice, would be great incentive to stay even longer. I left because of work-life balance.
