I have been working at URS full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

challenging and varied work as a consultant to one or multiple clients, constantly learning about technical matters, technology, and management and performance metrics. well respected company in the industry, family-friendly practices..

    Cons

You develop lots of superficial knowledge but it's hard to become an expert in any one field. You have to sell yourself and your skills everyday to stay billable. Career development and ladders are not clear; supervisors are mostly project managers not people leaders or advisors.
