I worked at US Air Force full-time (More than 3 years)

Stability and benefits. Reliability for payroll. Job security. Lots of highly experienced and knowledgable people. No worry about being downsized.

Management that has never experienced the "real world". Working for big government comes A variety of issues to include but are not limited to the bureaucracy of adhering to guidelines that are written at a strategic level and expected to be implemented on a case-by-case basis. In my line of work this is simply not conducive to good care of our warriors

    Advice to Management

Experience the real world. PTSD is not a one size fits all diagnosis. Let your social workers do what they were trained to do.
