I have been working at US Air Force full-time (More than 10 years)

This organization is great for someone who if flexible and they provide great on the job training for many diverse careers. They provide money for college tuition but only for a level of degree that you have not already achieved. So if you already hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject, they will not pay for another Bachelors or Associates Degree. The only exception to this is if you’re pursuing a Community College of the Air Force Degree that relates to your current job in the Air Force.

You won’t get paid the same amount that you would working the same job in the civilian sector but you earn more money as you move up in rank. They have a very high focus on physical fitness above all else so make sure you’re ready.

    Advice to Management

A little while ago the IDEA program was canceled to help cut overall cost for the military. I would recommend that this program be reinstated because it’ll give young Airmen an incentive to implement cost saving process improvements.
