    I have been working at US Airways as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

    Very good work culture , Very little stress and good work life balance.
    The managers are really good .
    The perks are great and flight benefits are awesome. Great for women employees .

    Cons

    Payscale is low compared to other companies for same role or technology . Compensated with flight benefits , that is their biggest perk.
    Not much technology breadth available if you want to enter into new technologies.
    Definitely lack of good career growth.
    Knowledge of Airlines will be critical for you to pickup on projects and to understand the terminology.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Provide more centralized training / orientation approach for new hires specially to those who are new to Airline industry.
