    Former Employee - Radio Operator/Maintainer

I worked at US Army full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

No prior training required. Training is given for everything you are expected to do, and you get paid exactly the same. You get the greatest health care plan in the world for you and your family. If nothing going else, you learn how to sa in the best shape possible.

    Cons

Not all leaders are good, but even they provide a learning experience. With the way you move around in the Army, you never have the same leader for more than 2-3 years anyway.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get out of the old ways of leadership and learn to have respect for subordinates, and it will come right back at you.
