DOD OIG - stable but unexciting

    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee
    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at US Department of Defense Office of Inspector General for more than a year

    Pros

Stable employment - you can't get fired without a congressional hearing (exaggeration, but not much of one). Good benefits, but not as good as in the private sector, obviously.

    Cons

Slow paced and lots of employees take advantage of the harder workers by sitting on their laurels and letting others do all the work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop acting like you have one foot out the retirement door
