I have been working at US Navy full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Travel, work up the ranks fairly fast depending on the ratings that are available, 30 days paid leave a year, POST 911 GIBILL, Tuition assistance program and some times really great people to work with.

    Cons

Being away from family, long hours, high stress environments, the general bullsh!t, told to hurry up and then waiting, idiots & slobs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The status quo is not an excuse.
