    I have been working at USAlliance FCU (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Sales incentive program
    - Annual bonus
    - Generous paid-time-off policy for full-time employees
    - Gym membership reimbursement
    - Growth mode
    - Friendly work environment - co-workers in other locations are generally happy to assist one another via email and phone.

    Cons

    - Although the across the board bonus every year is typically generous, raises are hard to come by. Some employees (who have gotten positive annual reviews) have gone several years without raises.
    - Thus, the salary scale tends to be unfair - new hires (some without banking experience) come on board with much higher salaries than long time, high performing employees.
    - Some policies are upheld differently in each location; procedures could be more uniform.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Employees wouldn't mind a smaller across-the-board bonus if there were annual raises based on individual performance. If it's necessary to spend less on game rooms and other extras, so be it - Morale would improve if raises were awarded to loyal employees with good reviews.
    - Be more transparent in terms of salary scales - if employees are paid based on their knowledge, job performance, and experience, what's being hidden? Unfortunately, recent hires, some new to banking, seem to be paid more than longer-tenured (but well performing) employees. As a result, turnover seems to be a bit high.
    - Focus more on employee development & promoting from within.
