    Pros

Salaries and benefits are generally good, and administrative support staff are great. Leadership had a long-term vision and was able to implement the changes necessary to bring much of that to fruition.

    Cons

Over time, leadership and management has lost touch with employees. Dedicated personnel are frequently taken for granted, and star performers are not promoted rapidly enough or compensated well enough for their work. As a result, great employees often leave for institutions with more opportunities to build their careers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

"Blue sky" projects need someone to hold up the sky. Get input from employees who know what's going on and listen to them before embarking on new projects or moving in new directions.

    Neutral Outlook
