Former Employee - Electrician in Los Angeles, CA

I worked at Union Pacific full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

It is difficult to find many positive thing to say; decent pay, some decent employees, good safety, some decent work conditions, some decent shifts,

    Cons

NO sick days, little vacation. ALL benefits come directly out of your salary. Zero tolerance for honest mistakes. If you are not interested in marrying to company, or joining the company church, probably not a good career choice.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat employees with more respect and not as expendable or disposable parts.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
