I have been working at United Launch Alliance

    Pros

You get to work on rockets - launching interesting an important payloads. A lot of responsibility is placed upon the employees, you have a chance to shine if you can handle the workload.

    Cons

Way too much expected overtime. The two companies (Boeing and Lockheed) merged - they seem to have taken the worst of both companies and formed ULA. The new health insurance package is terrible. A Lockheed takeover. Still operating like two companies forcibly merged together. "Us" and "Them" mentality exists. Lockheed guys thing the Boeing guys are getting a better deal and the Boeing guys think the Lockheed guys are getting a better deal.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

People are your most valuable asset. Try to remember that. Weekends are not normal workdays, people need time to recharge.
