I worked at United Nations FCU full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Generous salary and benefits for a call center.

    Cons

This review is only for the Call Center (MDS - Member Directed Services). When I started in 2012, three people including two supervisors either retired or were terminated. As soon as I noticed this I made sure to not stay for too long. In my last year in 2013, seven employees from MDS either left or were terminated.

This place is politically driven. If you like to say "YES" to everything and smile politely you will be just fine.

If on the other hand you like to speak your mind with respect to the company, your days are numbered. Eventually you will be notified by HR that there has been an "incident" and it will be noted in your employee file. If you have enough of these you will eventually be terminated as well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management of the department needs leadership and people skills. Micro-managing employees will seek them to leave the company at a fast rate. Supervisors have their favorite people they go to and will not involve you in any additional training to improve your skills. Management overall needs a complete overhaul. Everything is reports and numbers driven and they remove the human and social aspect of it which make them cold and callous.
