Overworked and underpaid.
It is hard to attract a good pool of applicants with the compensation in its current state.
Raises should be based on performance and not on hours worked.
Management is required to do too much in such a small window of time, and doesn't allow them to make creative decisions to problems they are faced with but rather just run with the situation and hope it turns out well.
Promotions are political. When you apply for an upper management position most times they have a person in mind for the position even before the interview.Advice to ManagementAdvice
