I worked at University of Edinburgh

    Pros

I really like working in the (Edinburgh University) EU and would love to work in future if an opportunity arises with them. The pay is decent and work load is very manageable with lots of holidays during the year.
The work culture is very mixed with lots of professionals from across the world.
There is complete freedom on the project that one is working on and i believe that is one of the main reason for so many innovations coming out of EU.

    Cons

The growth for foreigners may be limited but for locals sky is the limit. The weather may be a bit of concern during peak winter but one will get used to it.
There are some racist incidence I personally faced but the management dealt with the problem very professionally. However, within the academics there is still subtle but scares racism.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please reduce the fee for foreign students, its three times more than the local students.
