I have been working at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The place is very affordable for a graduate student, the work culture is really great, not very competitive even if has one of the best chemistry graduate programs

    Cons

It is in Champaign, middle of nowhere in cornfields, sometimes being a teaching assistant and managing research might be more than what you can handle.

    Advice to Management

Nothing, continue the good work, bring in better professors and research opportunities. Graduate students are working long hours, for very little pay, so they need to be felt appreciated
