Great experience working at the university, though there are some management issues

Former Employee - Dining Retail Manager
Former Employee - Dining Retail Manager

I worked at University of Michigan full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The university offers incredible starting salaries, benefits, culture, and really treats its employees well. This is really a no-brainer! Working for a university like this one is an honor.

    Cons

Definitely some management issues. Management is constantly changing, so rules are constantly being updated, which is both a good and bad thing. You'll often hear different rules from different managers often, no matter the department.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good work, but try to make management structure a little more stable.
