I worked at University of North Dakota (More than 3 years)

Nice pay and great benefits for graduate students.

The Communication Department itself needs lots of work with staff, organization, communication, and getting its program working properly to best benefit the students that it serves. If you go in to teach public speaking, be expected to conform to an exact syllabus and teach exact the same way all other 15 instructors are teaching. You get no wiggle room to be creative, innovative, or teach the way you believe the class should be taught. There is very strong emphasis on every instructor teaching the exact same way so that every student in all 30 different sections have the exact same experience.
