Current Employee - Associate Director of Development in Austin, TX

I have been working at University of Texas at Austin full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great salary
    Flexible work hours
    Great people to work with

    Cons

High turn over in the field
A lot of travel is required; difficult to manage with young children

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Although management says that they are ok with having a women take maternity leave as well as have the demands of having young children, there implicit messages of dissatisfaction. I wish the management were more understanding of mothers, especially those with young children.
