I have been working at Uno Restaurants full-time

    Pros

Co-workers are fun, store managers are good people who care about the staff and guests. Restaurants are nicely appointed.

    Cons

If you like being micro managed this is the company for you. Upper management expects you to for work from home after your 11 hour shifts, skip days off and vacation time. Their attitude is always what have you done for me lately. When you do positive things in sales, guest service, etc. The results are often not recognized. The focus of the company changes daily. You are asked to focus on so many things, there is no clear picture of anything. Went to cheaper food items recently which impacts quality. No growth in the company. The pay is below industry standards. Three CEO's in three and a half years sums it up.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Appreciate your people. Acknowledge peoples successes. Improve the work/home/quality of life issues. Develop a long term plan and focus on it.
