I have been working at Urban Outfitters

A lot of overtime during November and December. Good health and life benefits and options to purchase stocks. Good supervisors depending on the department. Some good people to work with. If you read my post don't get me wrong I love my job, I like working for URBN but there is a lot that needs to be straightened out by the corporate office.

Brought in temps to work peak, these are people who do not care about the company or customer satisfaction so they do a poor job.

One person expected to do the work of three.

The departments that need help do not receive it for two to three months.

Management has favorites and if you are not in the circle you do not advance.

All benefits have been taken away we no longer receive safety bonuses, incentive bonuses, employee appreciation day (well we did get a hot dog and hamburger), we now work Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor day. For these days we get a vacation day that most wind up loosing due to supervisors and management denying time off.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Corporate office needs to make surprise visits and have town hall meetings again without management present. Talk to the employees about how things are run on a day to day basis. If we speak up about what is happening at the DC we are fired once "Philly" leaves. We would also Like to know if the Trenton DC is going to close in 2016, instead of being told "we are not sure if the lease will be renewed", we have families who depend on us for support, if we need to look for new jobs we would like a little bit of notice.
