I have been working at Urban Pathways

    Pros

Helping homeless and those with mental illness reach their housing goals.

    Cons

A lot of work and responsibility for not a lot of pay and recognition. This is typical in the human service sector of non-profits, however there should be more of a sense of 'sharing' responsibilities on all levels.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More communication across all levels. There is a very rigid structure, which is needed, but more reaching across these lines from managers would be seen as respect and motivate workers more. The level of work and stress sometimes does not allow for this.
