Arrogance of product management. Absolute lack of customer focus. Political infighting among managers damaging the career prospects of their direct reports Career progression is not based on capabilities. Taking credit for the work of others is encouraged and is the only way to progress your career. EMC influence is most definitely a negative influence and is getting worse. Forget the prospect of any decent career opportunities if you reside anywhere other than the US or aren't willing to relocate to the US.
Advice to Management
Stop patting yourselves on the back and start listening to your customers and customer facing teams. Get back to making customers lives easier instead of introducing more and more complex products and features that are never deployed, even if the sales teams manage to sell them.
