I have been working at VWR International full-time

    Pros

The people. Most of them. Solid, hard working. Driving for success. These individuals have high integrity. Corporate culture can be good depending on the team you are on.

    Cons

If your not in the inner circles, you'll have a tough time getting traction to move up. Questionable decision making. Communication could be a lot better. Consolidation of leadership is a real head scratcher.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have seen a lot over the years. Strong leaders, strong positive culture. Honest dialogue and feedback. A great company. It will be interesting to see what the next couple of years hold to see if "great" is still a term that applies. Oh, and just a suggestion but leadership through fear and intimidation and passive aggression is not the way to stay great.
