I worked at Valley Radiology full-time (More than a year)
It is a stable outpatient radiology company when many others are in financial trouble.
The biggest challenge is they hire mainly from within which may sound good for current employees, it does, however keep the copany from being open to new, fresh ideas. They do not get the benefit of seeing things from a different perspective which could take them very far.
Advice to Management
Be open to change and new ideas. The company has been around a long time but it does need fresh ideas and marketing plans. Hiring from the inside, especially in the woefully inadequate marketing department. Hiring from within brings marketing reps with no experience in sales or the consultative sales process. Many lack the confidence to interact with physicians and office staff which is essential to gaining their trust and loyalty
