I worked at Vanity Shop Of Grand Forks full-time (More than a year)

*Employee Discount is nice its 40% off full price. *Corporate feedback from stores. *Online sales tracking program, however it's glitchy. *New stores are nice, old stores are hard to merchandise and look very outdated

*2015 payroll cuts, so managers were expected to work at least 45 hours a week up until August 2015, then the company decided to cut that back to 40 hours a week. Great right? However, the company at the exact same time cut the payroll allowance by 5 hours a week for the rest of the store team so upper management only had to work 40 hours a week where prior they had to work a minimum of 45 and going forward the rest of the payroll allowance for the stores was cut by 5 hours a week after they instituted the new 40 hour a week for upper management, great way to pull a magic trick of distraction, payroll was cut 20 to 25 hours per month..good luck only working 40 hours now! Thanks corporate.... *Incentives are a joke *NO raises were budgeted by the board of directors! *NO loyalty to outstanding employees *Company cares more about paperwork and operations than sale success *Absolutely NO developing for upper management *District managers constantly contridict themselves *Regional managers have no real clue as to how store staff is being treated or the lack of development. *lots of gossip from store level and from District Managers to other store employees *favoritism is a parent in upper level management And the list goes on. ..DON'T BE FOOLED, IT'S NOT WORTH IT IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING...LOOK ELSEWHERE...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
