    Pros

Decent salary but the amount of work required to achieve that was unreasonable. I worked there for 15 years so tolerated it because there were other areas where I found it to be a good company to work for.

    Cons

Excessive amount of training but didn't seem to actually result in improved processes. Felt like a check in the box mentality but took an enormous amount of time and that time was typically spent on your own because you did not have time during the work day to complete it. You were expected to be constantly working and available to respond to emails, projects, fire drills, etc. Even while on vacation. No work-life balance in actuality although they did like to talk about that being their goal. Continuous restructuring and reorgs which resulted in key tenured players having their positions eliminated. Very unhealthy levels of stress and dissatisfaction due to your position always being in jeopardy. I managed to survive about 12 major layoffs during my 15 years but was never comfortable in my position throughout my entire career. No reassurances provided by management either that you are valued and that your position or department is safe.

    Advice to Management

Keep your tenured people. Look at your business and decide if is your tenured people holding you back from being successful or your new recruits who are sorely untrained, largely egocentric, and who do not understand the meaning of the words dedication and loyalty.
