    I worked at Verizon Wireless full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Competitive compensation, matching 401(k), health benefits from day one.

    Cons

    Try convincing your customers that Verizon cares about them all the while Verizon undercuts quality client relationships with workforce reductions and incessant reorganizations in the name of saving money and face. Verizon cares about their clients only enough to keep the money flowing and certainly less than they care about their employees. The Verizon Code of Conduct is nothing more than a document interpreted to benefit the company and disadvantage its clients and employees. You can earn a great deal for a short period of time, you will work very hard for it and Verizon can and may easily find a way of taking it away from you. Good luck trying to advance if you are a person of color.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    You've lost your way, investing in too many companies that are bringing discord instead of synergy. You're customers know because you keep marching products and services in front of them that they neither want nor trust you to provide. Your nonstop reorganizations are beginning to take their toll on your clients and your employees which are working feverishly to keep it all together. The dam will eventually break and your clients will flow to one of the many other service providers specializing in services you are doing only a generic job of providing.
