Current Employee - Verizon Wireless Retail Sales Representative in Harrisburg, PA

I have been working at Verizon Wireless full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

money is great for retail sales, good friends, some managers are great. insurance great, 6% match on 401k

    Cons

retail hours, pushy sales practices, contradictory sales coaching, if you get a bad dm your life will suck. dms put pressure on managers who put pressure on assistant managers who intern micro manage sales reps until you want to jump out of the building and die. The most stressful job ever.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

stop micro managing. stop being sleezy and encouraging and rewarding sleezy deceptive sales practices.
