Promoting based on "friends" and not on performance
Over the last few years Verizon has moved from being a company that cares about the customer to a company that only cares about the bottom line and will do anything to get the money.
There is a huge disconnect between the store and local management and senior management.
A lot of night and weekend hours in the retail setting
Advice to Management
Go back to being about the customer and not your paycheck. Promote based on performance and look into lower management to make sure they are doing the same.
