    Negative Outlook

I worked at Vermont Law School full-time (More than 5 years)

Beautiful setting, some very nice coworkers, students make this a fun place to work.

Pay is mediocre for the region and only those working directly with the law are valued as employees. Faculty and deans are put on a pedestal while those working in the trenches are belitted and treated like second class citizens. There are way too many tenured professors that are pulling the education down and need to be reviewed and terminated if necessary.

    Advice to Management

You need to get rid of some of the useless hiearchy and get back to basics. Hiring past law school graduates that are unqualified in their position is a poor idea. Stop trying to be "that" big school and go back to your roots of teaching a smaller class and giving them a better education.
