    I have been working at Viator full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Great employees with enthusiasm, helpful attitude and teamwork. Most everyone wants to come to work there everyday and enjoy their job. Better perks now that TripAdvisor is on board.

    Cons

    Employees are fighting an uphill battle with snooty upper management who are unapproachable and cold unless they're talking to other upper management. Upper management lacks sense of humor and act uptight and superior. Hoping that TripAdvisor will get in there and move these people out so the culture can improve. Also no HR presence. HR benefit questions have to be emailed to faceless person in TripAdvisor office. It's inefficient and confusing. We have to ask our fellow employees what's going on because information is not always consistent or clear and hard to know who handles what. No IT person in the office which is really inconvenient.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Cheer up and say hello to people. Smile once in awhile and treat everyone the same. When you see people working hard, acknowledge it for all employees not just your favorites.
