    I worked at WNET full-time

There are some pretty nice people here and the viewers mostly appreciate the channel very much! When you tell people where you work they think its really cool and tell you their favorite programs.

There is very little room for growth or movement here, especially for more entry-level jobs. If you're young and just looking for work while you get your life together, I'd recommend another company unless you're in a position directly related to your career goals. The departments are small and it's very hard to move from one to another if that's your plan. The departments are also quite understaffed so be prepared to do the job of at least 2 people (since 2 people probably DID do your job before the recession). You may be excited and passionate at first but that will die quickly once overwork, underpay and supervisory bureaucracy settle overpowers it. Again, there are much worse places out there, but it's disappointing how unfulfilling working for "viewers like you" can be.

More opportunities for growth and learning. Many jobs can plateau very quickly...
