    I worked at WSO2 full-time (more than 3 years)


    friendly and a challanging work environment which can gain alot of exposure
    Lot of new initiatives are involved
    good learning possibilities
    open culture


    difficult to maintenance work-life balance
    a lot of politics and nepotism
    non-technical middle management (not all, but some)
    poor coding practices
    there are a lot engineers/teams leads with lack of deep technical expertise (e.g. architectural patterns, design patterns, OS fundamentals )

    Learn why separation of duties is important
    lean how to manage technical people
    be more transparent
