I worked at WageWorks as a contractor (less than a year)

good benfit products offered to organizations. some of the people are very nice.

lack of professional courtesy, large degree of nepotism, management lacks knowledge and experience. no clear sense of brand direction. creative marketing is completely absent. internal organization and communications are terrible.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

spend more time searching for qualified employees outside the company and offer them competitive salaries. expanding the search for candidates beyond the connections of already hired employees will help greatly to bring in larger talent pool. further, by offering salaries that are competitive with other organizations in the Bay Area WageWorks can attract and retain top talent.

get rid of incompetent managers. continuing to employ managers who have a record of complaints by their subordinates and other employees sends a signal that their opinions are unimportant. management that strives to include their works in decision making creates a better company that is ultimately more profitable.
