    I worked at Walgreens

    Pros

Flexible with my school hours, very consistent work schedule, management was reasonable. Was treated with respect and was spoken to like an adult. Was trusted with sensitive situations like closing registers and taking inventory, both skills I still incorporate today.

    Cons

Pay was pretty low, 8 hours on your feet, can be very tiedious, customers were unruly, aggressive defensive funny looking coupon hoarders with a chip on their shoulder, cleaning disgusting bathrooms once in a great while.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

what can I say? The company is well organized and by positioning themselves as more of a pharmacy oriented business they are moving in the right direction. Continue being flexible with your staff and trust the right people with important tasks. I really learned a lot while putting myself through school there. Other students looking to make a buck can be great workers too.
