Working for Walmart was an increase in knowledge in how Warehouse flow is to be accomplished.

I worked at Walmart full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Fellow co-workers were a joy to work with. The hours for the weekend shift were an asset, working 12 hour days but only 3 days a week. The starting wage is very good in todays market.

    Cons

Management can be somewhat hard in their mannerism and need to find fault in doing what they need to do to write an individual up for a wrong. Some of the work needing done is physically taxing on the body.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more understanding to the needs of the associates and the hard work that was done with not just an at-a-boy mentality. Make your associates feel that they can have a form of pride in their job and not just a form of dread as I have witnessed many have.
