Standard procedures vary from store to store, despite what company info says. Management tends to pick and choose what procedures they follow. At some stores people are not held accountable for what they do, correct or incorrect. Third shift can tend to get the brunt of fixing a lot of the mistakes made by other shifts.

    Advice to Management

Every store must be consistent with the new inventory management program and follow it exactly. Many associates complain that the system doesn't work, but in my experience it does if everyone is held accountable for their work and trained how to do it correctly. Efficiency is the key, NOT SPEED. The task management system, I think, is not entirely necessary either. It seems sometimes the process of using it cuts needed time away from the actual tasks.
