You are able to request multiple days off a couple weeks ahead of time. That is probably the only thing I liked about this job.
You cannot live on what they pay you, and they will cut your hours out of nowhere if you are part time to almost nothing. You have to work thanksgiving to help with "black friday" sales in addition to every other holiday except Christmas. The benefits are next to nothing and aren't affordable, managers show favoritism towards certain employees, allowing certain people to break the rules and punishing others for doing the same thing or even something not even half as bad. You have the opportunity to get a raise once per year, the max for my store was 60 cents, and it is next to impossible to achieve.
Advice to Management
Protect your employees against harassment and verbal assault better. Apply the rules to everyone instead of just the employees that are not considered "favorites"
