    I have been working at Welk Group full-time

    Pros

    The only "Pros" that come to mind are the learning experiences from those that are willing to teach and share their knowledge. Other than that, there is a lot of back-stabbing and hush-hush interactions; most of everything is covered up to continue the appearance of a good ol' family values owned company. Corporate has no real idea what management is doing at the "Flag Ship" location, Escondido, specifically in regards to the general management. If they did, then they are in denial if they've kept said persons just because of "teniorship".

    Cons

    For a company that is solely based on the premise of continuing the growth of monies they sure do a lot of things inefficiently; removing marketing management and creating "pool" management and placing persons head of said management that are incapable of really coexisting in a corporate environment, that may be the reason such a person is in a made up semi-promotional job title. I do not know what Jonathan Frederick (this name should be left as he is the public face of the company) is trying to teach his "troops" if he allows such actions (all of which have been mentioned in previous posts, here) and promotes the devilish. I thought that this would be a place to continue to grow and something to truly be proud of and honored to be part of.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pull you heads out of your butts and realize talent. You have lost and will continue to lose many efficient and productive team members, solely due to several specific people...year after year. If you want to continue to meet and exceed the $80,000,000.00 mark, then I suggest embracing thinking outside the box, with real thought, not just enough to shut people up or keep up appearances.
