    For the past several months the news meida has been correctly reporting about the "sales culture" at Wells Fargo and how the Bank is being sued. Senior management feigns dismay at the unethical practices and claims that this will not be accepted practice at the Bank. Well- nothing has changed. Try to remember your worst car buying expirience- the sense that you needed a bath after speaking with a salesperson. Now multiply that by 50 and you get the exprience of being an employee at a Wells Fargo Branch. Part of the "sales" process is to review a customer opportunity with the banker when the customer is in the store. But it is a common occurance for a banker to add products after a customer leaves-things that were not asked for. If you like 2-3 daily calls about your "solution sales and proxy reveune" be prepared to be belittled on calls with your peers if you don't hit your daily results. We are told that we "don't manage by the numbers, but by behaviors" but the only behavior I can look forward to each day is a withering critique by an "Area Manager" . The avergae age in our stores is 25-why? Because they recruit from Verizon Stores the only skill a banker needs is the ability to BS a client into signing up for things they don't need. Accounts are opened up wrong and in violation of laws and regulations- but thats ok- you hit your numbers and stay employed. Ethics go out the window. Buyer beware..As a store manager be prepared to work 6 days a week, have conference calls each day at 8am and again at 6pm. Be prepared to work in a store that is short staffed due to turnover, and the staff that is in place is clueless

    Advice to Management

    Stop lying about the sales culture at Wells. The mantra is sell or be fired.
