Good experience depends entirely on your branch team members and managers.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

You can learn a lot about how financial products work and how they are structured. You also learn good sales tactics from team members that will probably benefit you for life. At least for me it did.

    Cons

Daily quotas are set somewhat high which can lead to unethical selling practices just to meet quotas. Incredible employee turnover rate and terrible management. Sometimes u get a good district manager who pay attention to you help you grow, other times u get terrible ones who don't really care about their responsibilities anymore and just care about keeping their job. I was unfortunate enough to get the latter. So a good work environment really depends on what kind of upper management your stuck with.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If a district manager resorts to micromanaging, that means their overall managment skills are inefficient. Please make sure to hire the right candidates for the district manager position. The results generated by branch performance is a reflection of management's skills.
