I have been working at Wells Fargo

    Pros

When considering benefits and availability for growth Wells Fargo is a good company to work for. They have a good reputation and contribute greatly in the communities they serve.

    Cons

The pressure and focus that they require on obtaining "the sale" is insurmountable! You really have to "turn your life over to Wells Fargo" to meet their ever growing sales goals and there is always the outspoken knowledge of if you cant do it then we will find someone else that can. I would NOT consider them to be loyal to their employees because of this. I have found that people get burned out and end up leaving so turn over is high or they end up with negative attitudes because the stress and pressure becomes to intense..

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quit putting young, inexperienced employees in management/leadership roles without giving them the proper training. Just because someone is a great sales producing banker does not mean that they will be a great team leader. Ease up a bit on the sales focus and have upper management more involved in what is truly happening within our stores rather than what looks good on paper and sounds like a good idea when discussed in a round table meeting. Pay more attention to reality rather than questionable ideas.
