I worked at Wendy's part-time for less than a year

    Pros

    easy to get hired
    builds resume
    flexible schedules
If you work hard you've got a good shot at getting promoted to a shift leader and shift leaders get pretty good benefits considering it's a position you can achieve before turning 20 if you're good.

    Cons

it's fast food, it's a tough, super high speed environment that not everyone can handle
minimum wage to start (you can get small raises at semi-annual reviews)
the management tries to have a lot of people at each store so that if someone calls out they can find someone to come in and work, but to do that they have to spread the hours out super thin, which ironically causes some people to quit

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't spread your people soo thin, some people are trying to support families and they can't do that if you want to have 50 employees at each store and have everybody work 10 hours a week.
