I worked at Western New England University part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Coworkers are helpful & supportive, great professional developmental opportunities, tuition remission, ability to mentor and provide development to advisees/residents/students, meal plan, apartment, pay is good for the position, on-campus health complex.

    Cons

Though the job description is part-time, some work will require more commitment. This should be obvious if you plan to work in a Res. Life career though, and it is worth it overall. Also, you live in the same hall or complex as student residents so make sure to set boundaries early on.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you do! The staff and students appreciate your support and commitment to their development.
