I worked at Women for Women International full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great mission, some dedicated employees, especially in the field.

    Cons

The company is continuously going through leadership transitions. The overall feel of the office is very negative, and most of the employees are frustrated and unhappy in their jobs. Some of the management is looking to make improvements but I found the majority of ideas presented by non-management were not taken seriously.

There is no room for career growth and the benefits/merit increases are few and far between!

The company has a great mission so I hope it can turn itself around. To any candidates, make sure to do your homework and ask a lot of questions during the interview process! Until they can make some serious changes from the top down, I would not recommend working here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest in hiring the right people, especially in management roles and put more value and support in the recruitment process as a whole.

Take more time to talk to your employees instead of just your peers.
