I worked at Workman Publishing as a contractor (less than an year)

I only worked in a temp capacity. The coworkers are friendly enough and try to make you feel included. Editors trusted the temp art and production staff enough to get the job done without questioning. Work-life balance was fine. Clean building and atmosphere was relaxed, especially in the art department.

There seemed to be an unusually high amount of temp or part-time workers. Sometimes there would be seating conflicts as one workstation in particular had outdated equipment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

None, I would work there again.
