    I worked at World Book full-time (more than 5 years)


    It's nice to be improving products for schools and there is a reasonable opportunity for work-life balance. Previous leadership provided some good products to sell. There is sometimes an opportunity to advance but this is sometimes because of turnover.


    Very little in the way of benefits. With the management that came in in 2010 the company valued only the bottom line and layoffs became a way of life.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Start thinking about a strategy for the 21st century instead of trying to bring back the old ways of doing things. Families do NOT want to buy books.
