I have been working at World Federation of United Nations Associations

    Pros

    - Access to UN meetings
    - Ability to be innovative and proactive, own projects
    - Great camaraderie
    - Management honest about expectations and office/program needs

    Cons

Due to lack of funding, often have to manage up and seek feedback as operations manager unavailable. If funding was secured, potential to hire senior staff and expand.

Organization's mandate is extensive so don't expect a single-issue org.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on one or two projects in program areas, less interns, invest in senior and experienced personnel
